The lawyers of Vice President Sara Duterte have entered their appearance as her defense counsels before the Senate impeachment court, the tribunal disclosed on Monday.
According to the Senate impeachment court, the Secretary of the Senate acting as Clerk of Court received the appearance ad cautelam from the law firm of Fortun Narvasa and Salazar at 5:03 p.m. on Monday.
Page 3 of the document showed that the House of Representatives was furnished a copy of the notice of appearance but a handwritten note read, “tender copy, refuse to receive.” The handwritten time showed 3:42 p.m.
