Tropical Convergence Zone Brings Rain to Mindanao and Eastern Visayas

The Intertropical Convergence Zone will continue to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms to Mindanao and Eastern Visayas, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are forecast for the rest of the country due to the easterlies. There is a warning of possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains or severe thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are expected in Extreme Northern Luzon, and light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters in the rest of the Philippines.
