The easterlies affecting Metro Manila and parts of Mindanao could bring rains, according to PAGASA. Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Davao Oriental, and Davao Occidental will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms, while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains in these areas. No low pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation as of 2 a.m.
