Two digital content creators who were shooting a music video before dawn on a bridge in Pasig City were robbed by motorcycle-riding suspects, who were also caught on camera.
According to Emil Sumangil’s report on “24 Oras,” the victims posted the video online and were sent leads on the suspects’ social media accounts and even where they could be arrested.
The location they received was consistent with that being sent out by the mobile phone stolen from the victims.
Humphrey Dangkulos and Johann Morales were shooting a music video on Vargas Bridge when the suspects approached and asked for directions.
After they got their answer, one of them swooped down on the victim’s bag and announced the robbery.
Taken from the victims were cameras, extra batteries, a tripod, a cell phone, and other gadgets.
“Tinakot ako na kukunin niya daw po yung baril kaya binitawan ko na po,” Dangkulos said.
(He threatened me that he was going to get a gun so I just let go of the bag.)
“Dito tayo magsisimula dahil unang una, nakita po natin yung kabuuan ng mukha ng suspek at nung pinopost ng biktima natin, madami po ang nagbigay ng positibong impormasyon,” Pasig chief of police Police Colonel Celerino Sacro said.
(We will start here because, first and foremost, we saw the face of the suspect, and many gave information after it was posted.) —Jiselle Casucian/NB, GMA Integrated News
