Vice President Sara Duterte on Thursday urged voters to discern this 2025 May midterm elections and vote for candidates based on their accomplishments and platforms, not on their family name.
(This upcoming election, listen to the promises of the politicians, check on their accomplishments, their capabilities and abilities. Do not vote just because they carry the surname Duterte or they are the children of Digong. Scrutinize what they have done and what are their plans for the country.)
Digong is the vice president’s father, former president Rodrigo Duterte. He is the current chairperson of PDP-Laban.
During the political party’s campaign kick-off on February 13, the vice president sent a video message endorsing the PDP-Laban senatorial candidates.
(I believe that the people have the power to change the current state of our country by voting for people who are worthy, honest, and can diligently serve the nation.)
(We pray for the success of our advocacy for the sake of our community and fellow Filipinos.)
