President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is set to fly to San Francisco, California, USA next week to participate in the 2023 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit.
This was announced by Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Charles Jose at a Palace press briefing on Tuesday.
On its official website, APEC said that its 21 member economies account for nearly 40% of the global population, almost half of global trade, and approximately 60% of global GDP.
As of 2021, APEC member states were the destination for more than 60% of US goods exports and seven of the top 10 overall trading partners for the US are APEC members.
Marcos will also have working visits in Los Angeles, California and Honolulu, Hawaii.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
