The state weather bureau reported that Uwan has weakened into a tropical depression and is moving away from the country, with the intertropical convergence zone bringing a wide cluster of clouds over Mindanao and Eastern Visayas, causing scattered rain in these areas throughout the day and expected to extend its effect to the rest of Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan in the coming days. Uwan was last seen 305 kilometers north of Itbayat, Batanes, with maximum winds of 55 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour, and is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility today and weaken further into a low pressure area. Across Luzon, fair weather will prevail with warm and humid conditions at midday, while localized thunderstorms may still develop in the afternoon and evening. In the south, scattered rain will continue in Mindanao and Eastern Visayas due to the intertropical convergence zone, with temperatures ranging from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius in various areas, and no gale warning is in effect.
