Two weather systems have caused rains and flooding in some areas in Mindanao, with flooding in Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat causing a small hut to collapse and submerging homes and farms. In T’Boli, South Cotabato, overflowing water from a nearby creek triggered floods that forced rescuers to use ropes to assist stranded residents, while motorists in Magsaysay, Davao del Sur waited for two hours to cross flooded roads. The flooding was caused by a low pressure area and thunderstorms, and although the low pressure areas have dissolved, rains are still expected in some areas due to the effects of the easterlies.
