The police are now looking for a suspended police officer and his wife for selling online several mountain bikes that were donated by the city government to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD).
According to Glen Juego’s report in Super Radyo dzBB, the cop who was suspended for administrative cases has a rank of corporal and was a former member of the QCPD’s District Tactical Motorized Units.
Authorities discovered during an inspection at the QCPD headquarters last Aug. 2 that eight bicycles were missing.
The missing bikes were being sold online for only P3,000 each on Facebook Marketplace, the report said.
Meanwhile, authorities coordinated with the buyer of the eight bikes, saying that they were delivered by the cop and his wife. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
