On Tuesday, the victim was shot dead while driving his sport utility vehicle (SUV) in Parañaque City.
A witness said the backrider of a motorcycle driven by an accomplice fired four to five times at the victim’s car, causing it to crash into a post, according to a report of Jun Veneracion on GMA Integrated News’ 24 Oras on Tuesday.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) said the victim was engaged in a house rental business but did not give further details as investigation is ongoing.
“Ito ay nasa business ng pagpapa-upa ng bahay. Base sa report ni hepe, hindi po ‘yun ang motibo bagamat meron silang motibo na tinutumbok ngayon. Hindi na muna binanggit dahil sa kasalukuyan sila ay nasa follow up operations,” said Police Colonel Randulf Tuaño, acting chief of the PNP Public Information Office.
