PNP intercepts car with firearms at Camp Crame

A black car attempting to enter the Philippine National Police headquarters with reportedly more than 10 firearms was intercepted by the Camp Crame Base Police on Tuesday.

A report by SuperRadyo dzBB’s Carlo Mateo said a retired colonel was driving the car.

The driver was reportedly escorted to the Base Police’s headquarters for inspection.

The vehicle is currently being flanked by members of the SWAT team in full gear and an armored tank.

No further details have been released regarding the purpose of the driver and intent on bringing the firearms to the headquarters. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/AOL, GMA Integrated News
