The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported that the boxes were found in an abandoned container shipped from Thailand and arrived at the Manila International Container Port in Tondo, Manila.

PDEA said the kush was contained in 138 heat-sealed transparent plastic bags weighing about 72,000 grams.

The shipper and receiver may face a penalty of life imprisonment and a fine of up to P10 million for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
