A man facing a warrant for qualified trafficking was arrested by the police at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.
According to John Consulta’s exclusive report on “24 Oras” on Friday, the warrant stemmed from the complaint of two female victims who were promised by the suspect of employment in India or in Spain.
Paul Kenneth Lucas.
(They are recruiting Filipino women, especially the good-looking ones. They would ask for a total of P105,000 for placement and airfare. Once the victims have made a down payment, they would bring them to a spa in Pasay, supposedly for an OJT.)
(Our complainants were just surprised that other women were massaging and eventually providing extra service.)
The two victims were able to escape and file complaints with the help of a customer.
The police earlier arrested other accomplices, including a female, two cops, and an Indian citizen.
The suspect arrested at the airport will face charges for qualified trafficking in person, the Calabarzon Police said. He was also previously charged following complaints of illegal recruitment, estafa, and rape. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/LDF, GMA Integrated News
