LRT-1 suspends Baclaran-Roosevelt operations after train malfunction

The Light Rail Transit-Line 1 (LRT1) temporarily suspended its operation following a malfunction on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Jhomer Apresto’s report on super radyo dzBB, this was due to a train malfunction along the EDSA Station Southbound section.

“As of 2:46 p.m., a stop for safety has been put in place from Baclaran to Roosevelt station,” the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) reported.

“As of 2:46 p.m., a stop for safety has been put in place from Baclaran to Roosevelt,” it added.

LRMC added that a technician is already on board working on the fault of the affected train located at EDSA Station Southbound.

LRMC also asked for understanding from the public and the affected passengers of LRT Line 1.
