A visitor at the Manila North Cemetery was surprised to find out that unknown remains were buried among their loved ones.
Visitor Luis Dangalan visited the cemetery’s Puntod Finder to question the presence of another body among the remains of his mother, sibling, and grandmother.
“Ang di ko lang matanggap, bakit merong nakapasok na ibang tao sa puntod ng mother at kapatid ko? Okay sana kung kamag-anak ko eh,” he said on a “24 Oras” report by Ian Cruz on Friday.

The cemetery manager said he would look into the Meanwhile, several visitors have flocked to the cemetery on the eve of Undas 2025.
Medical teams and police officers have been strategically deployed throughout the 54-hectare public cemetery, and extra security measures for prohibited materials are being enforced for a safer Undas weekend.
Children are also being tagged with wristbands to ensure their families can be easily contacted if lost inside the cemetery, while persons with disabilities and senior citizens were provided with wheelchairs.
Free electric tricycle rides are currently offered for farther tombs, but will no longer be available during the Undas weekend due to the expected influx of visitors.
Earlier, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported that a total of 53,700 people had already visited the Manila North Cemetery as of 4 p.m.
Cemetery officials predict up to 2 million visitors by the end of Undas 2025 on November 2.
