Flooded areas: Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023

Some areas in Metro Manila got flooded midday on Saturday after heavy rains poured.

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, the following areas got flooded:

  • Araneta-Kaliraya northbound: half-tire deep; not passable to small types of vehicles as of 12:20 p.m.
  • EDSA-Camp Aguinaldo northbound: half-tire deep; not passable to light vehicles as of 12:20 p.m.
  • Ramon Magsaysay Blvd.-Altura Bridge eastbound: knee deep; not passable to small types of vehicles as of 12:56 p.m.

 

Below are areas that also got flooded, according to Super Radyo dzBB reporters:

Yuseco Street, Manila (12:55 p.m.)

 

 

 

Abad Santos Avenue, Manila (12:50 p.m.)

 

 

 

EDSA-Centris, Quezon City (12:40 p.m.)

 

 

 

Main Avenue, Quezon City (12:35 p.m.)

 

 

Liberty Avenue, Cubao, Quezon City

 

 

 

Weather bureau PAGASA said Metro Manila will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Saturday due to the low pressure area and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). Moderate to at times heavy rains may result in flash floods, it added.
