A fire broke out in a residential area in Tondo, Manila before dawn on Saturday.
Houses on Tioco Riverside in Barangay 91 were affected, according to a report by GMA News reporter Jhomer Apresto.
The first alarm was raised at 3:31 a.m., then it was escalated to second alarm at 3:42 a.m.
The Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region Tondo Substation then raised the third alarm at 3:52 a.m.
The fire was placed under control at 4:57 a.m. then fire out was declared at 6:09 a.m., according to a report by Mao dela Cruz on Super Radyo dzBB.
The BFP is still conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and extent of property damage. —KG, GMA News
