Personnel of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority temporarily closed the affected lane so repairs could be made.
Maynilad arrived at around 2 p.m. to shut the water valve to avoid further water leaks, while authorities used a vacuum truck to remove water from the hole and determine the source of the water leak.
The Department of Public Works and Highways NCR is investigating the matter to determine if Maynilad Pipes may have caused the hole.
Meanwhile, Maynilad advised 5 barangays near Sales Road, Pasay City to expect delays or interruptions up until 10 p.m. due to the ongoing repair on affected water lines. — Jiselle Casucian/KG/DVM, GMA Integrated News
