The decomposing body of a woman from Metro Manila who had been missing for a month was found in Laguna, according to a “24 Oras” report.
Reports from the local police said the corpse was found at midnight on Friday in a bushy portion of Barangay Sta. Cruz, Bay, Laguna.
“The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) team coordinated with us regarding the update on the person who has been missing since June 10 in Quezon City,” said Major Ruffy Taduyo, Bay, Laguna chief of police.
The NBI team said the victim’s feet were tied. The body was in a stage of decomposition.
There were no residents in the area where the victim was found, which used to be a waste dumping ground.
The body was cremated and brought to Quezon City.
