Two armed robbers wearing motorcycle helmets robbed customers at a Japanese restaurant in Makati City, but one of them went back to return the cellphones shortly after the crime.
According to Mariz Umali’s report on “24 Oras,” Makati police are wondering why the robbers would return the mobile phones.
“The normal robbery usually nangyayari, ma’am. Wala kang ititira. Kukunin mo lahat, ma’am, given the chance,” said Police Col. Jean Dela Torre, chief of the Makati City police.
The robbers in effect only took the P25,000 cash of a Japanese customer, who has indicated he would no longer pursue the case.
The Makati authorities said they would continue the investigation.
“Itutuloy po natin ito para mas malaman natin kung ano ang tunay na motibo naging motibo po ng dalawang motorriding suspect na naiulat,” Dela Torre said. –Mariel Celine Serquiña/NB, GMA Integrated News
