Two children were killed in a fire that broke out Tuesday afternoon in Manila’s Tondo district.
According to a 24 Oras report by Mark Salazar, the fire in Barangay 155 started at 4:24 p.m. when the victims, siblings aged 4 years old and 9 years old, were home alone.
The fire reached the first alarm and was under control within 30 minutes.
The fire was put out by 5 p.m.
While no other houses were affected by the fire, a resident was reported to have been lightly injured.
