Two passengers died after a bus fell into a ravine in Pagbilao, Quezon province on Monday evening.

In a report on “Balitanghali” on Tuesday, authorities said the bus was traveling from Daet, Camarines Norte to Quezon City when it experienced brake failure while negotiating a downhill curve.

The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to plunge into a ravine.

At least 35 others were injured in the incident, including the bus driver and conductor.

The bus company has coordinated with police and the families of the victims and has vowed to extend assistance, according to the report.—Vince Angelo Ferreras/MCG, GMA News
