Zhu has an outstanding order for deportation issued by the BI in 2023.
Meanwhile, Wang is the subject of a warrant of arrest issued by the Public Security Bureau in Jinjiang City. for alleged involvement in kidnapping.
Zhu was apprehended at his residence in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque, while Wang was nabbed on Metrobank Avenue, Pasay.
“We will deport them to China so they can stand trial for their alleged crimes, and they will remain on our blacklist to prevent them from re-entering the Philippines,” BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco said.
Both fugitives are now detained at the BI Warden Facility in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City, and are awaiting deportation. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
