CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – A group of Taiwan-based tour operators and travel agents took in the sights, sounds, and tastes of key spots in Central Luzon in a familiarization tour organized by the Department of Tourism – Region 3 with the Philippine Department of Tourism Office in Taiwan, and the Clark Development Corp., Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, and Bataan Tourism.
Led by Le Charmé Suites, Best Western Plus Metro Clark, and La Jolla Hotel and Beach Resort, the Oct. 16-19 tour visited interconnected attractions across Clark, Subic Bay, and Bataan, aiming to highlight Clark International Airport as a convenient gateway from Taiwan.
Tour highlights included world-class golf courses, wildlife parks, interactive museums, scenic cruises, comfortable accommodations, historical landmarks, and local product processing facilities.
The familiarization tour is intended to provide participating travel agents with firsthand experience of the destinations and tourism products that may be incorporated into their future tour packages for the Taiwan market. DOT-3/Punto Lifestyle Team
