The Southern Police District (SPD) scored another accomplishment in its campaign against wanted persons following the successful arrest of Taguig City’s top 8 most wanted person during a warrant-serving operation on Saturday morning near Papas Burger, Road 1, Joseph Sitt Street, Barangay Bagumbayan, Taguig City.
The arrested individual was identified as alias Jhon, 19, a resident of Barangay Bagumbayan, Taguig City.
Personnel of Sub-Station 12, Taguig City Police Station arrested the accused by virtue of a warrant of arrest in connection with Criminal Case No. 16014-D for violation of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The warrant was issued on 10 June 2026 by the Presiding Judge of the Taguig City Regional Trial Court Branch 267, with no bail recommended.
The arrested individual is currently under police custody pending the necessary legal procedures. The warrant of arrest will be returned to the court of origin.
