Philippine Food Chamber drives food security, sustainability at 2025 Membership Meeting 

THE Philippine Chamber of Food Manufacturers Inc. (PCFMI), the nation’s premier organization championing a safe, nutritious and sustainable food supply, recently convened its fourth general membership meeting.

This pivotal event brought together key stakeholders, industry leaders, government officials and esteemed experts to actively address pressing issues surrounding food security, sustainability and regulatory compliance amid a dynamic global landscape.

The meeting, themed “Navigating Global Shifts, Trade Uncertainties, and Food Security Risks,” underscored PCFMI’s unwavering commitment to fostering a resilient and robust food industry capable of adapting to challenges and consistently providing quality sustenance for the Filipino people.

A significant highlight of the meeting was the emphasis on the critical partnership between the food industry and government regulatory bodies, particularly the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). FDA Director General Paolo Teston delivered a compelling message of partnership, outlining the FDA’s strategic plan for robustly supporting the food industry.
