MANILA, Philippines — Returning senator Francis Pangilinan dismissed reports that he and fellow senatorial candidate Paolo Aquino IV were being eyed to join the administration slate in the May midterm elections.
Rep. Toby Tiangco, the campaign manager of the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas, reportedly met with Pangilinan and Aquino as reelectionist senator Imee Marcos withdrew from the administration slate and speculatiom swirled that Camille Villar, daughterof Sen. Cynthia Villar, would also be dropped from the roster.
