New fitness, Mediterranean food hub to rise in Clark

CLARK FREEPORT – Residents and visitors in this freeport will soon experience a versatile hub offering fitness amenities and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.

Clark Development Corp. president and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera signed with Habibia Corp. (HC) president Aileen Bognot Fajardo and co-owner Tarek Aouini a 15-year lease agreement for Barn House 2079, covering an area of 1,100 square meters to house the Core and Balance Pilates Studio and Couscousi Mediterranean Grill.

HC is investing P22 million to renovate the building for its facility that is expected to create 24 job opportunities for local residents.

“We are grateful for the trust given to us, particularly by Ms. Aileen and Mr. Tarek Aouini. Positive developments are happening because of the teamwork between the estate manager (CDC) and our investors. Through this kind of partnership, we can achieve higher levels of development,” noted Devanadera.

HC communications consultant Alex Aquino said the Couscousi Mediterranean Grill will offer a variety of healthy gourmet meals inspired by cuisines from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, such as Greece, Italy, Morocco, and Tunisia.

The Core and Balance Pilates Studio, on the other hand, will focus on enhancing clients’ physical health and overall well-being through various fitness programs and personalized training sessions.

Derived from the Arabic word “habibi,” meaning beloved, HC aims to introduce a blend of wellness, culinary diversity, and convenient services inspired by Mediterranean influences to the Clark community.
