PORAC, Pampanga – Miriam College Alviera (MCA), the newest co-educational campus of the esteemed Miriam College system, will hold its Open House on April 25, 2026, with sessions scheduled at 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 noon.
The event marks a significant milestone for the growing campus as it prepares for the opening of its Higher Education Unit this August. It serves as an official welcome to prospective students and their families, offering an immersive introduction to the MCA learning experience.
The Open House invites applicants across all levels—from Nursery, the newest addition to the Basic Education Unit, up to Grade 10. It also introduces MCA’s initial college offerings:
- Bachelor of Arts in Psychology – a four-year program that explores the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes, with a distinctive focus on integrated health and lifestyle. Students are trained in research, assessment, and real-world application across diverse contexts.
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) – a four-year program that prepares future educators to support young children’s growth and development through a strong foundation in early childhood principles and hands-on teaching experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation – a program focused on developing innovative and practical business solutions through design thinking, guiding students from concept development to market launch while strengthening creativity, critical thinking, and experiential learning.

A Campus Designed for the Future
Strategically located within Alviera, a rapidly growing estate developed by Ayala Land, Inc. and Leonio Land Holdings, Inc., MCA sits at the heart of Central Luzon’s emerging development corridor.
The campus master plan, designed by Architect Ed Calma of Lor Calma & Partners, emphasizes safe, flexible, and environmentally responsive learning spaces that reflect Miriam College’s core values. Integrating sustainability with functionality, the design supports a holistic educational environment that connects academic life with community, business, and recreation.
The MCA campus design was recognized with the 2022 Outstanding Property Award London (OPAL) under the Architectural Design – Education/Institutional category. The award honors projects that demonstrate creativity, innovation, and sustainability.
Architect Ed Calma’s design was cited for its thoughtful response to the site’s natural topography, preserving existing landscape features while creating dynamic, flexible, and future-ready learning environments.
What to Expect at the Open House
The Miriam College Alviera Open House on April 25 will offer prospective students and families a comprehensive introduction to campus life through a range of engaging and interactive experiences. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in immersive sessions led by Basic Education and Higher Education faculty and program chairpersons, meet members of the school community, and gain deeper insight into the institution’s academic environment and culture.
The program will also include self-guided campus tours, curated activities for guests, and access to information packets on academic offerings. College applicants will be guided through the initial stages of the admissions process, including assistance with requirements, scheduling of creative assessments, and submission of necessary documents such as a creative CV and cover letter.
The Open House is open to all applicants from Grade School to College.
