MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Waterfront City project was inaugurated on Monday.
“We are excited and our support is full for the project Manila Waterfront City,” Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said.
The Manila Public Information Office (PIO) said on Facebook, “Under the public-private partnership of the City of Manila and Waterfront Manila Premier Development, Inc., the 318-hectare Manila Waterfront City along the stretch of Manila Bay is expected to become a new center of business and lifestyle.”
It was estimated that the project would create a million job and business opportunities, the PIO said.
The project was also expected to create 95 hectares of, to quote the PIO, “additional open and green spaces.”
