Participants can unleash their creativity as they design and decorate their very own gingerbread masterpiece. The workshops are scheduled on November 22 at 3 p.m. at Gringo SM Fairview; November 29 at 3 p.m. at Gringo Fort; and December 6 and 13 at 3 p.m. at Gringo Festival Mall.
The tradition of building gingerbread houses traces its roots to Germany in the early 1800s, inspired by the fairytale Hansel and Gretel, where a house made of sweets captured the imagination of children and adults alike. Over time, it became a beloved Christmas activity around the world, symbolizing creativity, family bonding, and the warmth of the holiday season.
Workshop fees are priced at P850 and P1,250, inclusive of a Gingerbread House kit and meals. Set A, at P850, includes a choice of Gringo’s famous Nachos or Spicy Chicken Tacos and two iced teas or pink lemonades. Set B, at P1,250, includes a choice of pasta such as Angus Bolognese Linguine, Bacon Cream Fusilli, or Shrimp Bisque Pasta, along with chicken tenders and two iced teas or pink lemonades.
Honeybon’s design-it-yourself Christmas Gingerbread House will also be available soon at Honeybon branches located at SM North Edsa, SM Megamall, and Festival Mall. It can also be ordered online at www.honeybon.ph or through GrabFood and foodpanda for those who prefer to bring the festive experience home.
