City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy was recognized and honored as one of the Top 5 Most Trusted and Performing Mayors in the entire country, based on the results of the “Boses ng Bayan” Index of Governance (IOG) survey released by the RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD) for the first quarter of 2026.
According to the independent, non-commissioned survey conducted in April 2026, Mayor Klarex achieved an 81.89% Index of Governance (IOG), an 81.64% trust rating, and an 82.15% performance rating.
RPMD, a non-government organization (NGO), stated that mayors were first evaluated by their own constituents before receiving these ratings.
The results reflect the high level of public confidence and trust in Mayor Klarex, attributed to what the survey describes as his effective, transparent, and responsive leadership of the city.
The assessment covered several criteria, including leadership, social services, public safety, infrastructure, disaster response, transparency, and responsiveness to the needs of the city’s residents.
The recognition highlights the strong confidence of the people and affirms Mayor Klarex Uy’s effective leadership in governing the city.
