ROTARY International District 3870 Governor Gilda “Gigi” Go has appointed Nena Tan of the Rotary Club of Kalayaan Cagayan de Oro as the chair for the governor’s monthly letter for RY 2023-2024 and will automatically be part of the new district leadership team.
“Apart from being articulate, Rotarian Kim is very dependable. In her previous club and district assignments, she has delivered beyond expectation and that and many more of her positive traits makes her perfect for the position as GML chair,” Go said.
A governor’s monthly letter is published to keep Rotarians and others updated of the things that are happening within the district. The governor’s monthly letter includes a personal monthly message by the incumbent district governor as the leader of the district. This serves as a medium to discuss the district’s goals and thrust for the month, to inspire Rotarians to action and to invite everyone to the district’s upcoming projects and events.
Rotary International District 3870 is composed of 44 clubs from Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao, Camiguin and Cagayan de Oro City.
