MISAMIS ORIENTAL – Congressman Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” Emano of the 2nd District has taken a significant step to enhance security at Laguindingan Airport by delivering 12 Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras and 348 street lights along the Access Road.
This project, backed by a budget of PHP 10,000,000, represents a substantial investment in the safety and well-being of airport users and the local community.
Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” M. Unabia, alongside Congressman Emano, led the ribbon-cutting and “Switch On” ceremony for the Street Lights, officially marking the launching the project.
In addition to the CCTV and street light turnover, Congressman Emano also supplied essential office materials to the Aviation Security Unit.
These upgrades are poised to create a safer and more secure environment for all residents and travelers in the region.
They highlight the collaboration of local leaders and line agencies, reaffirming the Governor’s PAGLAUM Strategic Agenda on Mobilization of Resources through Equitable Sharing and the commitment to enhancing safety and infrastructure in Misamis Oriental. ###
