The Light Rail Transit 2 (LRT-2) will offer free rides for all female passengers on Saturday, March 8, in celebration of Women’s Day.
The free ride will be from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in all LRT-2 stations.
A free haircut also awaits to 30 women passengers in select LRT-2 stations on the following dates:
- March 12 – Antipolo Station
- March 19 – Cubao Station
- March 26 – Recto Station
The LRT-2 management will also give roses to women passengers in the Antipolo Station on March 5.
Moreover, here are the other privileges that Filipino women can avail this Women’s Month:
- Priority lane at the National Museum on all Fridays of March
- Free issuance of civil registration documents for the first 100 transacting women in all Philippine Statistics Authority CRS outlet in Metro Manila (March 3,10, 24, 27)
- Free entry at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (March 8)
- Special priority lane for female clients at Department of Environment and Natural Resources CENRO Olongapo City (March 3-7)
- Seedlings giveaway and priority lane to female clients of DENR PENRO Rizal (March 1-31)
