A HOUSE was reportedly damaged by a whirlpool on Tuesday noon, October 10, 2023 in Sitio Looc, Barangay Poblacion, Argao town, southern Cebu.
In an interview with SunStar Cebu, the house’s owner, Evangeline Ortega, 44, claimed that the whirlpool had stripped their roof of ten GI sheets just as she and her husband had gotten home from dropping off their kids at school.
Ortega claimed that lightning and rain were also present at the time of the incident.
Ortega added that they temporarily covered their roof with plywood so that their belongings in the room do not get wet.(DVG, TPT)
