THE Office of the President has declared March 31, 2025, a special non-working holiday in Panabo City in celebration of its 24th Founding Anniversary.
The proclamation, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin on March 7, 2025, recognizes the significance of the occasion and aims to allow Panaboans to fully participate in the festivities.
This year’s Araw ng Panabo, themed “Panaboans, Padayun! Maghiusa sa malungtarong kaugmaon,” promises a vibrant, month-long celebration filled with cultural, social, and community-driven activities.
The festivities kick off on March 1 with a grand civic parade, an ecumenical mass, an opening program, and the launch of Fire Prevention Month.
The following days will feature a variety of events, including the Juan Luna sarsuela (March 5 and 6), the Panabo trade expo (March 7 to 9), and stakeholders’ night (March 10), leading up to Mayor Joe’s annual report on March 14.
Youth and talent take center stage on March 15 with Kabataan Day, a danceSport competition, and the highly anticipated Talentadong Panaboan showcase.
The excitement continues with Dyosa 2025: Drag Queen Competition on March 16, followed by the preliminary rounds of Binibining Panabo 2025 and Super Sereyna Queen of Panabo 2025 on March 22. Music enthusiasts can look forward to Rak-Rakan sa Panabo, a battle of the bands showdown, on March 23.
A mass wedding and mass baptism and LGU Gabi ng Parangal, a night dedicated to honoring outstanding public service, is set on March 24.
The Super Sereyna Queen of Panabo 2025 Coronation Night will dazzle audiences on March 27, followed by the Binibining Panabo 2025 Coronation Night on March 29.
The grand finale on March 30 will bring the city together for a thanksgiving Mass, an anniversary program, and the much-awaited Panaboans Night, capped off with a spectacular fireworks display.
