The lowland barangays of Tungkil and Linao, as well as the upland barangays of Camp 7 and Camp 8, hosted the launch.
In line with the activity, the government officials searched for potential dengue-carrying mosquito breeding grounds in public spaces such as barangay halls, chapels and schools.
The anti-dengue campaign will also include a series of activities such as cleanup drive, and poster making and audio-visual presentation contests, which will be participated by the town’s 19 barangays.
These contests seek to develop residents’ creativity while encouraging participation to create an environment free of dengue.
The winners will be announced on June 29, 2023 during the culminating activity for the dengue drive.
This campaign is a collaborative effort between the Provincial Health Office, the Department of Health, and the Local Government of Minglanilla. (AML)
