Two houses in Calape was razed and one other was partially damaged due to a fire which erupted at past 9 a.m. Friday, authorities said.
According to FO3 Jose Armand Paldac of the Calape Fire Station, the fire lasted for almost an hour but there were no reported injuries.
Paldac said the fire started in the house of one Elizabeth Royeras in Barangay Desamparados.
The fire however spread to two other houses owned by Peter Taculod and Catalino Orioque.
“Na-ugdaw ning duha balay ka ang na ugdaw kaning kang Royeras ug Taculod, ang usa mura’g 50 percent partially burned,” said Paldac.
According to Paldac, they were able to declare fire out at 10:12 a.m.
Fire authorities continued their probe to determine the cause of the blaze.
Meanwhile, those affected by the fire have been evacuated and were extended assistance by the Calape local government unit. (AD)
