Davao de Oro’s 2nd District Congressional candidate Butchoy “BT” Taojo has officially launched his platform centered on job creation, agricultural development, and equal opportunities for all, reinforcing his commitment to genuine public service under the banner “Plataporma Para sa Tao!”
Taojo, who has actively engaged with communities across the 2nd District of Davao de Oro, emphasized that his platform is rooted in the real needs and aspirations of the people.
“Gikan sa atong mga kumustahan ug konsultasyon, akong nabati ang inyong mga pangandoy, nadungog ang inyong mga kabalaka, ug nakitang personal ang inyong mga panginahanglan. Tungod niini, napanday ta ug napalig-on ang mga plataporma nga angay sa matag pamilyang Dabawenyo—mga plataporma nga Para sa Tao! (From our visits and consultations, I feel your dreams, I heard your worries, and I saw personally your needs. Because of this, we were able to craft and strengthen the platforms that are suited for every Dabawenyo – platforms for the people!),” Taojo said.
His three-point agenda focuses on:
1. Trabaho ug Negosyo – Expanding employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.
2. Agrikultura ug Panginabuhian – Strengthening agricultural support and livelihood programs.
3. Oportunidad Para sa Tanan – Ensuring inclusive growth for all sectors.
Taojo vowed to work alongside provincial gubernatorial bet Ruwel Peter Gonzaga and vice gubernatorial candidate and current governor, Dorothy “Dotdot” Gonzaga, as well as the entire Government Works team, to implement these programs effectively.
“Kauban ang tibuok pwersa sa Government Works, mas palawman ta ang kalihukan sulod ning atong mga plataporma. Ug sa atong panag-uban, mas mapalapdan pa ang mga tinguha sa pagkab-ot sa mas maayong ugma! (Together with Government Works team, we will deepen our actions inside this platforms and as we go on, we will widen our goals to achieve a better future!),” he declared.
With his campaign anchored on peace, unity, and progress, Taojo is calling on the people of Nabunturan, Mawab, Maco, Mabini, Pantukan, and Laak to join him in his journey toward a better future. PR
