UP announces extended deadline for applications

The University of the Philippines has extended the deadline for their college applications until May 31.

In an announcement on Wednesday, UP announced that aspiring first-year students for Academic Year 2025 to 2026 should submit their fully accomplished Form 1 on August 10 to 11 in order to be able to take the college entrance examinations.

Applicants may visit upcat2025online.up.edu.ph for additional guidance and details.

The university initially opened their applications on February 26 to April 15, urging applicants to submit their Form 1, their grades in Form 2B and a hard copy of their SF-10 to the UP Office of Admissions in UP Diliman, Quezon City.

Test-takers of the UPCAT in August will be tested on language proficiency (in English and Filipino), reading comprehension (in English and Filipino), science, and mathematics.
