Vice President Sara Duterte is only waiting for a document before she comes home to the Philippines and hopes that the legal team of her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, will be completed before she leaves the Netherlands.
According to a report on “Saksi,” the Vice President and younger sister Kitty faced the media in The Hague after visiting their father who has been detained for crimes against humanity charges in connection with the killings under his war on drugs.
Sara Duterte said legal matters such as her father’s bid for interim release will be handled by the former President’s lawyers.
She said the Office of the President was also preparing assistance for Filipinos who have been detained in Qatar for allegedly holding an unauthorized political demonstration. –NB, GMA Integrated News
