The Department of Health (DOH) recorded 437 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, while the active tally rose to 9,480.
The new cases brought the nationwide COVID-19 tally to 4,085,539, while the number of active infections increased from 9,413 on Friday.
The National Capital Region logged the highest number of new cases, with 1,307 in the past two weeks. It was followed by Calabarzon with 465, the Davao Region with 438, Northern Mindanao with 303, and BARMM with 213.
The recovery tally is currently at 4,009,622, while the death toll climbed to 66,437 with three new fatalities.
As of Friday, the national bed occupancy rate was 16.7%.
A total of 7,734 individuals were tested on Friday, and 318 testing laboratories submitted data. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
