A graduate of St. Jude College-Dasmariñas, Cavite achieved the highest score in the Philippine nurses licensure examination held earlier this month.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 7,749 out of 11,116 passed the exam, given by the Board of Nursing in testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga and Puerto Princesa.
Abigail Escueta Cayanan of St. Jude College was the topnotcher with a score of 92.60%, while the best-performing school with 30 or more examinees is the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, with all 31 of its test takers passing.
