Southern Mindanao to Remain Under the Grip of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ)

Scattered rains will persist over southern Mindanao in the next 24 hours due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). The affected areas are BARMM, Zamboanga Peninsula, SOCCSKSARGEN, Lanao del Norte, and Misamis Occidental. The ITCZ will also bring the same weather conditions over Palawan, which may cause flash floods and landslides. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies, which may also trigger flash floods or landslides. The whole country will have light to moderate wind conditions and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
