Police raided suspected drug dens in two barangays of Cagayan de Oro City last weekend, arresting six individuals believed to be operators. Brig. Gen. Rolindo Suguilon, Northern Mindanao police director, reported that authorities confiscated 330 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱2.24 million. Separately, in Koronadal City, South Cotabato, engineer Kezzie Junsan was killed and his wife wounded during an early morning attack outside their home last Wednesday. Lt. Col. Peter Pinalgan Jr., Koronadal City police director, stated that two men on a motorbike fired eight shots at the couple as Junsan opened their gate. He was pronounced dead at a hospital, while his wife sustained injuries from a stray bullet.
