Campos was fatally stabbed near a gasoline station by a 42-year-old suspect, later arrested by police. The motive remains unclear. The KBP-Butuan City Chapter expressed deep sadness and outrage, calling Campos’ death a tragic loss to his family, the media community, and the public he served. Campos previously served as director of the Radio Mindanao Network and manager of Radyo Serbato in Butuan City.
