E-bikes need to be registered, says LTFRB-10
Ending years of speculation, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) in Northern Mindanao ruled that electric bikes should be registered first in their office if owners want to use them on public roads and highways.
LTFRB-10 Director Abosamen Matuan said e-bikes can be registered if their owners can submit a stock report of their vehicles.
Matuan said there is an ongoing registration for e-bikes where owners have to pay P240.
