RESTORING HOPE A total of 34 urban poor individuals receive free prosthetic hands and arms in a special outreach event in Cagayan de Oro City. Led by the LN4 Foundation and PCUP–Mindanao, with support from partner organizations, the initiative aims to restore mobility and provide hope to beneficiaries across the region.
THIRTY-FOUR urban poor individuals received free prosthetic hands/arms from the LN4 Foundation in a special activity at Camp Edilberto Evangelista Patag, Cagayan de Oro City, on Aug. 28, 2025. The project was made possible through the active leadership and coordination of the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP)–Mindanao, which collaborated with various Local Government Unit–Persons with Disabilities Offices across the region to identify and endorse qualified beneficiaries.
Among the key partners in the successful event were the GMA Kapuso Foundation, 4th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army, Naked Wolves Philippines and the Rizal Paramount Lions Club, which collectively extended their support to ensure the activity’s success.
In addition to the prosthetic devices, beneficiaries also received essential kits, groceries and rice from generous partner donors, including the GMA Kapuso Foundation, Philippine Airlines, Ever Bilena and Best Amo Services Inc.
This initiative formed part of the continuing advocacy of the LN4 Foundation and its partner organizations, including PCUP Mindanao, to provide new hope and restore dignity to individuals who have lost limbs due to accidents, illness or other circumstances.
