Mass Resignation Hits DPWH-10: Chief and 14 District Engineers Step Down

The director of the Department of Public Works and Highways-Northern Mindanao and 14 district engineers in the region have submitted their courtesy resignations after the new DPWH Secretary ordered all officials nationwide to do so following allegations of irregular transactions, particularly in flood control projects. The courtesy resignation letters were submitted on September 2, 2025, and although all district engineers complied, they continue to carry out their regular duties as the DPWH Secretary has yet to take action on their resignations.
